Pastor Al Geise

Rev. Al Geise is our Pastor here at Gurley Methodist Church. He and Donna have been married 39 years and have two grown children and proud grandparents to three grandsons.
Al is a native of Tuscumbia, Alabama, a graduated from University of North Alabama and Chandler School of Theology, Emory University, Atlanta Georgia.
Pastor Al retired on the thirty first of July 2020 after serving 37 in the North Alabama Conference of the United Methodist Church.
Pastor Al's prayer is that we would claim Colossians 3:15-17 as we grow together in the Lord: "Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace and be thankful.
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and to sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God.
And whatever you do, whether in word and deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him."
May all who enter Gurley Methodist Church find an atmosphere of God's unconditional love and abundant grace.
